Early leadership brings a quiet, constant pressure to prove your competency, confidence, and certainty.
That pressure shows up as:
Saying yes to more than you have capacity for
Speaking before your thoughts are fully formed
Overworking or over-directing to demonstrate competence
Making fast decisions while privately questioning them afterward
The advice that comes along with it is always abstract: be confident, trust yourself, speak up.
What’s missing is a clear way to understand how you actually operate when the pressure is on.
Human Design provides a practical system for understanding how you’re designed to:
Use energy in leadership
Engage responsibility
Make decisions you can stand behind
Communicate with impact, timing, and authority
This is a map of how your internal system works — especially when expectations are high and stakes feel real.
When you align with these pieces, you experience important shifts:
You don’t worry about looking competent because you understand your gifts and how to use them.
You withstand the pressure to speak before you’re ready. You know if you wait, what you say will land the way you want it to and have the impact you’re looking to make.
You’re not worried about looking certain right away because you trust that the correct decision comes when you have the time you need to make it.
You don’t fake confidence. It’s the natural byproduct of no longer working against yourself.
Looking at leadership through the lens of Human Design gives you four practical anchors:
Type shows where your energy is reliable and how you create impact without depletion.
Strategy reveals how opportunities, conversations, and responsibilities are meant to come to you.
Misalignment Cue (known as “Not Self) acts as a red flag that you’re creating unnecessary friction.
Authority shows you how to make decisions that feel settled, grounded, and internally consistent.
These anchors aren’t ideas to understand once. They’re tools you return to again and again.
As you apply this framework:
You trust your strengths and know when to use them so you're naturally grounded in competence.
You speak when you’re ready, and your words land with more weight
You make decisions without needing reassurance afterward.
You stop managing your image and start leading from internal certainty
You don’t fake confidence. It’s the natural byproduct of no longer working against yourself.

The best friend of the guide and workbook. Here, I walk alongside you in micro-episodes as you move through the process - helping you slow down, listen to yourself, and integrate this into your real-life leadership moments.
What good is information if you don't slow down to consider and integrate it? This workbook, built into the reference guide, helps you do just that.
Don't just listen and read,
Practice and Experiment.
Hey there, I'm Carin (like "car in" the garage) your leadership mentor.
It's my mission to wake you up to make the moves you've been afraid to make. Because on the other side of that discomfort is freedom, peace, and ease.
I think it's wild that having a rough first couple years of leadership is just considered the norm. Most successful leaders look back and cringe at their first couple years saying "I learned a lot and have left it behind."
Having been through a very rough leadership experience myself, I know how the pressure can make you second-guess and abandon your true self. This can lead to people-pleasing, overcompensating, and overthinking on the fast road to burn out.
My goal is that you don't hit that point. I bring you all of the tools that helped me remember, appreciate, and celebrate my strengths so you can transform your work experience - or at least get clear that you deserve better and make your move to find it.
When you work with me you'll deep dive into your Human Design so you lean into your exact strengths that make you unique AND you'll learn mind-body practices that will help you disconnect from the doubt goblins and maintain a more peaceful leadership presence.
